Full Description:
Note- ***Testing is today***\n\nCampus Life Facilities, along with Facilities Services is administering the Campus Life Emergency Power Supply Systems Program. \nWe are required to perform monthly testing of automatic transfer switches and generator sets in 17 buildings. \nThe testing requires the transfer switches to be exercised and the generators run in each building for (30) minutes. \n\nThe loads fed by the generator experience a momentary blip in power (3-5 seconds) at each end of the test. \nCircuits primarily affected are Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, some Ventilation Systems and Card Access.\n\nOur goal is to make the testing as seamless and transparent as possible and avoid disruption.\nPlease contact Tim Anderson at 254-6303 or ta19@cornell.edu to report any concerns. \n\nNote that the regular (normal utility) power will be unaffected during the tests.
