Brief Description:
On Thursday, February 28, 2018 some mail was rejected from some Cornell campus sources to Office 365, with a message of "Service unavailable. Client blocked from sending from unregistered domains." Microsoft fixed this problem around 6:15pm that evening.

There is no workaround for this issue
Current Status:
No new reports of this problem have occurred. A message was sent Thursday afternoon to everyone who didn’t receive email sent to them. The message listed the emails the intended recipients didn’t get so that they could decide whether to contact the senders and ask for the emails to be re-sent.

On Thursday, February 28, 2018 some mail was rejected from some Cornell campus sources to Office 365, with a message of "Service unavailable. Client blocked from sending from unregistered domains." Microsoft fixed this problem around 6:15pm that evening.

Some students have reported that individuals attempting to send them an email have gotten a message that it was not delivered. Any student who is using Cmail should check for the expected email there. Delivery to Cmail was not affected, even though Office 365 may have sent a non-delivery message to the sender.
