Due to a change in how authentication is handled by Microsoft services, some individuals using Outlook for Windows may see a screen they are unfamiliar with, asking them to log in.
User Impact:
An login screen may be presented to some individuals using Outlook. If this occurs, they will be prompted by the Cornell ADFS Logon just as when signing in at http://outlook.cornell.edu.
Workaround:
There is no workaround for this issue
Current Status:
This login will continue to be used when logging into Microsoft services.

Full Description:
Due to a recent change in how authentication is handled by Microsoft services, some individuals using Outlook may see a screen they are unfamiliar with, asking them to log in. If this occurs, they will be prompted by the Cornell ADFS Logon just as when signing in at http://outlook.cornell.edu. They may encounter the login if they have never saved their password in Outlook, have not used the application in more than ninety days, or have signed out of their account through the Office Account window in the application.
