Brief Description:
Some individuals have encountered issues using Apple Mail in versions of macOS older than Sierra (10.12). Updating the operating system appears to fix the problem in most cases, or contact the IT Service Desk to be added to Cornell's case with Microsoft.
User Impact:
Apple Mail running under older versions of macOS won't download new mail from Cornell's Office 365.
Workaround:
Outlook on the Web (http://outlook.cornell.edu ) can be used in any modern browser, and Outlook 2016 for Mac is also available as part of Microsoft Office, either by licensed installation on Cornell-owned computers, or through download from Office 365 to personally owned computers.
