Brief Description:
An upgrade of the CUVPN client, AnyConnect, will be configured in the CUVPN servers on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 05:00 AM - 07:00 AM. Once configured, AnyConnect clients will automatically upgrade on client machines when they connect to the service.
User Impact:
Upon connecting to CUVPN, AnyConnect clients will perform a self-upgrade (up to a minute or so), then proceed to connect to the service. Full Description:
An upgrade of the CUVPN client, AnyConnect, will be configured in the CUVPN servers on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 05:00 AM - 07:00 AM. Once configured, AnyConnect clients will automatically upgrade on client machines when they connect to the service.

Upon CUVPN log-in, a window will appear indicating a new AnyConnect client is being downloaded and upgraded. When finished, the new version launches and logs the client into CUVPN automatically. Administrative privilege is not required for AnyConnect self-upgrade.

This upgrade is for Windows 7 SP1, 8, 8.1, 10 and MacOS 10.10, 10.11 and 10.12 and 64-bit linux clients. iOS and Android versions are upgraded by the respective App Store/Google Play versions.

n.b. MacOS 10.9 has been tested to work, but Cisco drops support for MacOS 10.9 with version 4.4. Support is limited; users are encouraged to upgrade their OS.
