Brief Description:
There have been reports of attempts to start or join a meeting in Firefox and being prompted to download and run an installer for Chrome. The process can't complete successfully, blocking use of Firefox. This issue is not affecting other browsers.
User Impact:
This problem seems to only be affecting some users. When it does occur, the meeting cannot be attended using Firefox.
Workaround:
Use a browser other than Firefox to attend the meeting.
Current Status:
This issue appears to be happening only very rarely. Anyone who encounters it and wants to try to continue using Firefox for WebEx meetings should use the WebEx removal tool to take all WebEx components off their computer:
https://help.webex.com/docs/DOC-2672
WebEx should then reinstall the components the next time the computer is used to start or join a meeting.

Since support is being ended for WebEx in June, a better long-term approach is to switch to the new supported web conference service, Zoom:
https://it.cornell.edu/zoom
Services Affected:
Web and Video Conferencing
Full Description:
There have been reports of some users attempting to start or join a meeting in Firefox, then being prompted to download and run a stand-alone installer for the Chrome extension. The browser then waits for the user to run the exe, but it won’t open, and this blocks their ability to get into a meeting using Firefox.
