Full Description:
A change made to the PureMessage Spam Control system caused an email header to be added that looked like mail merge instructions to Cornell’s Lyris e-list service. Since they were not real mail merge instructions, affected messages were corrupted, causing them either to be hard to read or to be rejected by the recipient’s email service.\n\nThis problem affected messages sent from outside Cornell to an @cornell.edu list address (ones sent to @list.cornell.edu addresses were not affected) between Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 8am and Tuesday, May 3 at around 10am.\n\nList administrators may log into the Lyris LM web interface at http://list.cornell.edu to see if messages to any recipients failed to be delivered or were bounced back.
