Full Description:
Due to a change Facebook has made, when Facebook email notifications are sent to a Cornell account that then automatically forwards to an account on a different email provider (like Gmail, Yahoo, or AOL), the notifications are now much more likely to be refused by that destination email service. The changes that Facebook made are intended to reduce the likelihood that fake notification emails sent by criminals will fool email systems into thinking they are the real thing.\nUnfortunately, they also interfere with the type of forwarding many members of the Cornell community use.\nFacebook notifications sent directly to Cornell email accounts in Office 365 and Cmail are being delivered properly. If settings are changed in Facebook to direct the notifications to an account in a different email service, like Gmail, Yahoo, or AOL, those will be delivered properly. The issue only occurs when notifications are sent to a Cornell email account, then automatically forwarded to another service.

There are indications that sending Facebook notifications to a Cornell email account that automatically forwards all email to an AOL account may result in Facebook no longer sending any email notifications to that individual.
