The NotifyLink service, which provides email and Oracle Calendar synchronization to mobile devices, should be working for most users now. There are still issues for devices that connect via the AT&T EDGE network, particularly some BlackBerry devices.

All indications are the server is completely back on-line. Some devices may need to be rebooted:\n\nBlackBerry: pull the battery, wait ~10 seconds, replace the battery.\n\niPhone: hold down the power key until the "slide to power off" screen shows, slide to power off, wait ~10 seconds, power back on.\n\nWindows Mobile: locate the reset button for your model and press it. This outage is necessary so that the NotifyLink vendor can assist CIT with required maintenance to improve stability of the NotifyLink service. \n\nOnce the maintenance work is complete, any email or calendar data that the affected individuals received during the outage will be synchronized to their mobile devices.\n\nThe approximately 300 faculty and staff who use NotifyLink have been notified of this planned outage. This outage is necessary so that the NotifyLink vendor can assist CIT with required maintenance to improve stability of the NotifyLink service. \n\nOnce the maintenance work is complete, any email or calendar data that the affected individuals received during the outage will be synchronized to their mobile devices.\n\nThe approximately 300 faculty and staff who use NotifyLink have been notified of this planned outage. 2010-03-24 04:00:00

The NotifyLink service will remain unavailable until approximately 3 pm. \n\nThe email synchronization part has been working, but from 12:45 to 3:00 pm (estimated), the entire service will be down so that CIT can fix the ongoing problem with Oracle Calendar synchronization.\n\nOnce the NotifyLink service is available again, any email or calendar data that was received during the outage will be synchronized to the mobile devices.\n\n\nPrevious description: The NotifyLink service is still unavailable.
