At about 11am today (Thursday, January 15, 2015), AOL began blocking email from Cornell. Earlier in the morning, AOL had previously started deferring the acceptance of email from Cornell, slowing delivery.\n\nAs a result of the efforts of Cornell technicians, service was restored by shortly after noon. Cornell messages that were not accepted by AOL triggered bounce messages to the sender indicating the message was not delivered. All deferred messages have been delivered.
