Service was interrupted for Lyris E-list for most lists for much of Tuesday. Queued messages have been delivered.

The E-list service is still functioning normally as of 9am, Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Cornell technicians are continuing to investigate the causes of the issue and what steps can be taken to prevent similar problems from occurring in the future. As of 9:00am, the main E-list server is back in normal operation and is fully caught up with backlogged E-list email. The issue appears to have started around 7:40 this morning. The Lyris web interface is not currently responding. Messages sent through the main E-list server on Tuesday since just before 9am have not yet been delivered as of 2pm. The vendor has been contacted and vendor and Cornell technicians are consulting on the issue to identify a solution. The list for Special Conditions for the university is on a high-performance server that is not affected by this issue. Efforts are ongoing to identify and implement a fix for the issue.
