Performance: Possible login issues with Lync from mobile devices
There is no workaround for this issue
Microsoft has reported a limited issue which may prevent some users from being able to use Lync from mobile devices. Affected customers are able to sign in to the Lync client from a mobile device, however they then receive an error message: "Unable to acquire Personal Certificate." Microsoft engineers are currently examining logs to identify the root cause. In the meantime, as a workaround, affected customers can use the Lync client from a laptop or desktop.
