User Impact:
The update will require periods of outage/downtime during the maintenance window. Cisco recommends that users avoid using the system during the maintenance windows.\n\nAfter the upgrade, local instances of the WebEx session applications on end users' machines will need to be updated the next time the users join a session. This will happen automatically if Java is enabled on the user's browser.\n\nThe new versions will include a new UI for both the web portal and the application. Functionality is mostly unchanged but the interface will have a new look and feel. Some buttons, links, and features will appear in new locations in the new UI.\n\nGoogle Chrome users using version 38+ will have a new extension (rather than the previous plug-in) that will need to be installed the first time the users join a meeting after the update.
