A change in spam filtering the morning of August 26 affected delivery of almost 30,700 messages to alumni whose cornell.edu mail goes to Cmail. The issue has been fixed.

The 16,979 messages that were affected were addressed to alumni whose cornell.edu mail goes to Cmail. Instead of being delivered, messages were bounced back to the senders between 7 am and 10:30 am. \n\nThe cause was a change to spam filtering.
