User Impact:
For services that were configured to use BOTH OID servers there will be no effect. For those who did not, they will experience a momentary outage as the old services IPs are taken down and then pushed out as CNAMES. One name will be converted at 7am and the other at 8am.

on Sunday Jan. 12th the old OID (Oracle Internet Directory) services names (OIDMASTER1.CIT.CORNELL.EDU and OIDMASTER2.CIT.CORNELL.EDU) will be repointed to the new load-balanced implementation of OID (OID.CIT.CORNELL.EDU)
