Scheduled Service Change: Upgrade Quest suite (ARS and QPM) on Prod
End users with netids will not experience any effects. Guests will not be able to acquire a new account through the GuestID system during a 6-8 hour window on Saturday. (On average we get two guest ID requests per month.) TSPs will be unable to manage the active directory for 6 hours Saturday morning. TSPs who use the client installed locally will need to download a new client. The web client will continue to work as before.
There is no workaround for this issue
Upgrade Quest ActiveRoles Server (ARS) and Quest Password Manager (QPM). Quest ARS is the tool used by TSPs across campus to manage the Active Directory. QPM is only used for GuestID.
