An Office 365 issue is preventing POP or IMAP clients (such as Thunderbird) from accessing mail using a Cornell Optional Email Alias or an Exchange Group Account. (Outlook, Outlook Web App, and ActiveSync (for phones) are fine.)

This issue is only affecting people who use an IMAP or POP client (such as Thunderbird) that is set up to get mail using their Cornell Optional Email Alias or an Exchange Group Account.\n\nAffected individuals can use Outlook Web App (http://outlook.cornell.edu) in the meantime. \n\nMicrosoft's Exchange Engineering team is actively engaged in resolving the issue and applying a patch to the affected servers. This POP/IMAP issue is also impacting Remedy. Incoming email haven't been processed since Sunday morning. \nOutgoing Remedy email is working fine. \nWe are working on a workaround for Remedy.
