We are currently testing a solution in a test email environment which would eliminate double copies of messages arriving in some email accounts as a first step in deploying a fix to this long-standing issue. There has been no change to the production email system. Two copies of each email continue to arrive for messages from non-Office 365 addresses when the recipient has a mailbox in Office 365 and forwards to a non-Office 365 email account. Now that the Exchange Transport Agent has been re-enabled, some individuals who forward their Cornell email to another email system may (again) see some duplicate messages. It doesn't happen in every case, and many email systems eliminate duplicates so many people don't see the effect.\n\nCIT is working with Microsoft on a resolution that works for both cases.
