CIT has received numerous reports that email to elists is being delayed.

| Postings and commands to most @cornell.edu elists have been verified to be suffering severe delays. We think the system will have caught up by 18:00 today. We are working towards getting it caught up sooner, however we don't know if it will be possible. The problem is caused by user submitted commands that are already in process in the system. | The elist service is back in normal operation. All known delayed email has been processed. There might still be some delayed email queued out on the internet which will eventually be delivered to the elist server.
