Full Description:
The NYSERNet Network was temporarily impacted by a booster card loss \nof power on the Albany ONS Box (15454). This affected traffic \nbetween Albany and NYC as well as some service to the NYSERNet Data \nCenter in Syracuse. The card has returned to service.

We are currently experiencing issues with the NYSERNet wave to NYC which \nsupports our Cogent Commodity ISP service.\n\nAs of 1 p.m., NYSERNet had a replacement board for the failed one in \ntransit to Albany. NYSERnet remote hands engineer and the Cisco replacement part are \nconverging on the Albany POP, with arrival of both scheduled for \naround 3:30. NYSERnet anticipates the maintenance to replace the failing \nONS Booster card to begin between 3:30 and 4:00 this \nafternoon. Those members who have optical paths between Syracuse and \nNew York will see another loss of signal during the maintenance.
