This change will require a service outage.\n\nAfter the change, users who navigate to the "cornelluniversity.webex.com" address will be taken to a landing page directing them to the new site address.\n\nAll meetings, events, training sessions, and recordings will automatically populate to the new address. The only expected impact is that shared links to previously-made recordings that use the old site address will no longer work. Recordings themselves will not be affected and will populate to the new site, but any *links* to recordings that have been previously distributed will no longer work and new links to the recordings will need to be provided after the change.

On 12/17, from 10pm-midnight, Cornell WebEx will change its site name from cornelluniversity.webex.com to cornell.webex.com. It will be unavailable while the change is made, though actual downtime may be less than the two hours allotted.
