Full Description:
Cisco has reported that some users of its WebEx service have reported quality issues with Cisco WebEx Teleconference, such as noise, clipping, and static.\n\nAt this time, we are not aware of any incidence of these audio issues having impacted Cornell's WebEx service, and the problems may not extend to Cornell's WebEx service at all; but the possibility does exist that this issue could affect Cornell users.\n\nPlease notify the IT Service Desk if you experience any audio issues while using WebEx, so that we can provide reports to CISCO. Call 255-5500 or email itservicedesk@cornell.edu. Additionally, if you are experiencing this issue, you may consider using an external phone bridge or conference call rather than the integrated Cisco WebEx Teleconference, or use the WebEx Voice Over IP (VOIP) feature for the audio portion of any WebEx events. Doing so should allow you to circumvent any audio issues with the Cisco WebEx Teleconference.
