All Kaltura @ Cornell services, including Blackboard, the Video on Demand Service, & the Video Platform Service, are currently experiencing an issue preventing users from being able to delete content. Other functions do not appear to be impacted at this time. Only the capability to delete content appears to be affected.

Kaltura has informed us that the patch will be applied tomorrow, Tuesday August 7. There should be no interruption in service during the change. Once we are informed the patch is complete, we will check to see if it worked to fix the issue and report back to you as soon as we know.\n\nThank you again. The Kaltura vendor believes they have identified the issue. A patch is scheduled to be applied to the vendor-side systems on Sunday, August 5. Stakeholders have been notified, and the change will be logged with CCAB as a non-CIT event.\n\nWe will test the patch first thing Monday August 6 to confirm if the issue is fixed and report results at that time.\n\nThank you, again, for your patience. After some investigation, the vendor believes the issue may be related to a recent vendor upgrade/patch completed last Sunday July 15. The upgrade is a two-stage process which was logged with the CIT Change Advisory Board (CCAB) as a "Non-CIT Event." The second half will be completed this Sunday July 22, approximately mid-day. The vendor believes that applying the system–wide patch to complete the upgrade may resolve this issue.\n \nCIT has confirmed that if the issue is not resolved by the patch applied on July 22, the vendor will continue to investigate as a high priority issue.
