CIT will be doing network maintenance on Sunday, May 17, from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., that will affect many campus computing services. All affected services are expected to be available again by 7:00 a.m.

CIT will be doing network maintenance on Sunday, May 17, from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., that will affect many campus computing services. All affected services are expected to be available again by 7:00 a.m.\n\n*** 5:00 to 5:30 a.m. ***\nRedRover Wi-Fi, EZ-Remote, AUDIX, VoIP phones, and Call Management systems will be unavailable. Also, the Cornell campus network and the Internet will be unavailable for approximately 1 to 20 minutes in 31 campus buildings.\n\nThis brief outage is necessary so that CIT can connect a new router.\n\n*** 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. ***\nMany central computing services will be unavailable for about 5 minutes. Then there will be a period of intermittent issues through 7:00 a.m. as servers and services are checked and restarted if required.\n\nAffected services include email, the Cornell University web site (www.cornell.edu), Cornell University Library online services, CUinfo, Blackboard, Cornell mailing lists, PeopleSoft, and many others.\n\nFor a complete list, please see\nhttp://www.cit.cornell.edu/news/index.cfm?id=55043\n\nThis brief outage is necessary so that Cornell Information Technologies can upgrade Ethernet switches in the server room.
