Brief Description:
User Impact:
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER THE UPGRADE:\nSome Confluence spaces may look or function a little differently. Some changes are a product of the new version:\n\n• Autowatch is on by default for all content. With autowatch turned on, you will receive an email notification each time someone edits or comments on a page that you added or updated. This means you may receive notifications about any page you've added or updated in the past. You can turn autowatch on or off by editing the email settings in your user profile. For more information, see: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF35/Subscribing+to+Email+Notifications+of+Updates+to+Confluence+Content#SubscribingtoEmailNotificationsofUpdatestoConfluenceContent-ReceivingRegularEmailNotificationsofUpdatesbyWatchingaPageBlogPostorSpace\n\n• For each Confluence page, a new “Share” button will now be available near the “Edit, Add, and Tools” buttons. To share any confluence page, click the “Share” button and specify the people you want to share the page with. Add an optional note, then click “Share.”\n\n• There are several other changes. See a Highlights of the Confluence 3.5.16 upgrade at: http://www.it.cornell.edu/services/confluence/whatsnew.cfm \n\nREPORTING ISSUES AFTER THE UPGRADE:\nIssues that should be reported may include, but are not limited to, legibility issues caused by shifted text or images, etc.\n\n• End-users, please report issues to the Confluence space admin responsible for the space where you have identified an issue. If you don’t know who the space admin is, contact confluence-admins@cornell.edu.\n\n• Space admin, please report issues to confluence-admins@cornell.edu. \n\nFor information about Confluence, including how-to documentation for users and administrators, see http://www.cit.cornell.edu/services/confluence/. Documentation for the new version will be available here after the upgrade.\n\nIf you have any questions or concerns, please contact Confluence Support at confluence-admins@cornell.edu.\n \nThank you,\n\nConfluence Support Team\n
