User Impact:
Users who are connected to a domain controller while its IP address is changed may see a momentary pause while the client connects to a different domain controller.\n\nApplications that are configured to use a single domain controller and not updated to use query.ad.cornell.edu may see a 5-minute delay while the DNS TTL expires and the new IP is discovered.\n\nJava-based applications that do not honor the DNS TTL will have to be restarted to refresh the IP address only if the old names are left in their configuration.

On Sunday, February 5, and again on Sunday, February 12, from 5 am to 7 am, the IP addresses on several CornellAD domain controllers will be changed from 10 space to routable space.
