During the work elist email will be delayed ... queued during, and sent out after the system comes back up.\n\nThe administrative web interface will be unavailable.\nAfter the work there will be no user visible changes.

All @cornell.edu elists and all bulkmail will be down\n Sun 2012-Jan-08 06:30 - 08:30 (am)\nso that the back end Oracle database may be patched.\nDuring the work, elist email will be delayed (queued during, and sent out afterwards).\nThe administrative web interface will be unavailable.\nThere will be no user visible changes after the work is completed.
