To resolve issues with the exchange service, the exchange databases need to be rebalanced. The re-balancing will cause a series of brief (less than 1 minute) outages to each exchange mailbox. Users may experience slowness and unable to reach the server for less than 1 minute. To resolve issues with the exchange service, the exchange databases need to be rebalanced. Exchange support has provided Microsoft with logs, which are currently being analyzed, to determine the root cause of the performance issues. We will continue to monitor the affected mail server overnight; some people's mailboxes will also be moved to a different server to help even out the load.
