A DNS issue last night prevented on-campus users from reaching sites and services located on and off campus. The issue was resolved at 2:41 am. To help raise awareness that the issue happened, this alert is intentionally still being displayed.

| At 11:35 PM on Nov. 15th 2011 Cornell DNS query servers became non-functional. The on campus user community could not resolve any DNS names including Cornell DNS names.
