We are investigation reports of delays of email sent to elists.\nIt appears some elist email has been delayed.

Email sent to elists are still experiencing delays. There seems to\nbe an unusually large amount of inbound email. We are still working\nto understand the situation so that we can control it and get the\nservice caught up with the backlog.\n Email sent to elists are still experiencing delays. The elist server is finally accepting inbound email at much more\nnormal rapid rate. The back log of unprocessed messages is\nnow down to only 200. We expect the backlog will be fully cleared\nby about 23:30. \n\n\nWe are still uncertain of the cause of the delay. It is possible that\nthe cause of the problem was fixed when we restarted the server\naround 21:23, however the server did not start working properly\nuntil an hour after that. We now know that some messages have been\ndelayed since 08:30 this morning, even while other messages were\ntransiting the system just fine. We have found one error message\nin the server logs that we have never seen before which we will\nbe investigating further.\n\n\nWe will update this once more tomorrow morning.\n The elist server is finally accepting inbound email at much more\nnormal rapid rate.
