Scheduled Service Change: Power down AD6 (domain controller)
Some application may have ad6 name hard-coded in their configuration. Those apps may need to be restarted or reconfigured to use a different domain controller.
There is no workaround for this issue
On Sunday, Oct. 30, at 6:00, one domain controller for cornell.edu Active Directory domain will be powered off. The server is ad6.cornell.edu. The server will remain powered off for one week before it is upgraded to Windows 2008 R2.
