On Sunday, Oct. 30, at 6:00, one domain controller for cornell.edu Active Directory domain will be powered off. The server is ad6.cornell.edu. The server will remain powered off for one week before it is upgraded to Windows 2008 R2. The one week shut-off period is to ensure that any application that may be using the name of the server can be reconfigured to use a different domain controller....
