Cornell's leased circuits between Syracuse and New York City have been experiencing outages starting around 02:31 AM EDT, Monday August 29, 2011. Brief outages on both circuits have occurred. The two outages were 1-2 seconds. The longest outage (06:23 - 07:00 EDT) impacted Cornell connectivity to Cogent ISP (NYC).\n\nThe follow services are impacted:\n\n Cogent ISP : Cogent ISP (Internet peering at 10GE)\n NLR Peering : NLR PacketNet and NLR FrameNet .edu \n backbone.\n Weill Medical School private peering : Weill Medical \n College private Internet peering (New York and Qatar).\n CIT off-site tape backup : Remote Tape collection at \n Weill Medical,\n 575 Lexington Avenue,NY, NY\n AzzurroHD video feed : Video feeds from Cornell to \n production studios via AzzurroHD.\n ORIE remote office, NY, NY : ORIE remote site at 55 \n Broad Street, NY, NY
