Scheduled Service Change: Fix for disappearing PDF problem
The application of the fix will require a reboot of each CAS server. The reboots will be staggered so there are always ample CAS servers to service users. There should be no visible affect during the service window.\n\nAfter the patch is applied, subsequent emails containing PDFs sent by Apple Mail users will not cause a problem for Outlook users. Existing mail sent since July 17 will not automatically be remedied.
There is no workaround for this issue
The rollup patch applied to Exchange introduced a problem for Apple Mail users sending to Windows Outlook users. PDFs included as attachments would be invisible to the Outlook user, though they were viewable by other clients. We are applying a Microsoft hotfix for the problem.
