Scheduled Service Change: restart myCornell servers
No immediate change will be noticeable by end users, new groups will be available for future use. In this case, the OIT-helpdesk.staff will be used to allow helpdesk staff access to the CIT tab.
There is no workaround for this issue
We will be restarting the 3 production myCornell servers in order to pick up additions to the groups configuration file. The servers will be restarted in sequence so that there will be no actual service outage although any logged in user will lose their session and be forced to log in again.
