Brief Description:
Zoom will enforce minimum client versions, as outlined in their Software Lifecycle Policy, on August 1, 2026.
User Impact:
Individuals and Zoom instances with up-to-date clients will not be affected. Those running an end-of-life version after the enforcement date will be logged out of their Zoom Client or not be able to join meetings via the Zoom client until they update. The Zoom Download Center may undergo changes during the update.

Anyone running an end-of-life version after August 1st will be logged out of their Zoom Client or not be able to join meetings via the Zoom client until they update. This enforcement applies to both individual Zoom clients and also Zoom Room instances. We recommend updating to the latest version of Zoom software by checking for updates within the Zoom client. See also Zoom's documentation on how to update.
