Individuals whose university status, or lack thereof, no longer provides access to Cornell's Zoom instance will have their Cornell Zoom accounts unlinked from the Cornell Zoom instance, converting them to free/personal Zoom accounts with no affiliation. As these individuals no longer have a valid university status under Cornell Zoom authentication rules, these should largely be users that are already unable to use their Cornell Zoom accounts (via SSO). If anyone with a valid university status is unlinked by accident, they should be transparently restored by using SSO to authenticate to the Cornell Zoom instance (which will restore the linking).

At this time, a periodic de-provisioning of Cornell Zoom user accounts will take place. Cornell Zoom accounts associated with individuals who no longer have a university affiliation that provides access to Zoom (such as alumni, retirees, etc.) will be unlinked from the Cornell Zoom instance, converting those Zoom accounts to free/personal accounts.
