Brief Description:
Users with student Microsoft 365 license cannot access Copilot Chat. Cornell staff has opened a ticket with Microsoft to resolve the issue. There is no workaround for affected users to access the protected version of Copilot Chat.

Users with a student Microsoft 365 license cannot access Copilot Chat. They receive the error listed below.
"Continue as a guest or sign in with a personal account instead. Your education account [NetID]@cornell.edu is not yet supported."

Users with a student Microsoft 365 license cannot access Copilot Chat. They receive the error listed below. Cornell staff has opened a ticket with Microsoft to resolve the issue. There is no workaround for affected users to access the protected version of Copilot Chat.

There are some reports of functionality returning for affected accounts, though Microsoft has not declared the issue resolved. If you previously were unable to access student Copilot service, you may want to check to see if it has returned for your account. |
