Brief Description:
On August 6, 2025, Canvas data retention policies will be implemented, deleting SIS-managed courses that are older than five years (2019FA and prior). These courses have been previously flagged for deletion. Perpetual term courses will not be impacted.
User Impact:
SIS managed courses from the 2019FA term and prior terms, going back to 2017FA, will be deleted from the Canvas learning management system. Instructors, students, staff, and alumni will no longer be able to access these courses (as they will have been deleted).
