Brief Description:
CIT will be migrating Active Directory domain controllers (DCs) to the new Nutanix VM infrastructure. Only Ithaca campus DCs are included; expect 4-6 hours per DC during which time that specific DC will be unavailable.
User Impact:
Users will not see any impact. Any AD "client" (servers, printers, devices etc.) that can only use a single DC may experience issue when that DC is being migrated.

Full Description:
CIT will be migrating Active Directory domain controllers (DCs) to the new Nutanix VM infrastructure. Only the domain controllers in Ithaca campus will be included in this migration. Each DC migration is expected to take 4-6 hours during which time that specific DC will be unavailable.
No service interruption of Active Directory (cornell.edu domain) is expected; however, if you have any applications that have hard-coded domain controller name, please refer to the schedule below and update your application configuration as necessary.
