Brief Description:
Resolved: Enrollments in Canvas are not visible. CIT is reprocessing the enrollments now. A banner announcement has been added to Canvas.
User Impact:
Users are not able to see their FA 2023 group assignments or differentiated assignments (accommodations) in Canvas.
Workaround:
There is no workaround for this issue
Current Status:
This issue with Canvas has been resolved. Courses and enrollments have been restored to their previous state, along with any subsequent changes.

As of Noon, 11/27, all Fall 2023, Canvas course enrollments have been restored. Some assignment and quiz settings, however, were not restored. We are still working with Canvas engineers to reset unique assignment/quiz/discussion availability dates that were lost during Monday’s incident. If you have any assignments/quizzes/discussions in Canvas that (A) are due in the next 24 hours and (B) require unique availability/due dates for specific students, please check to see that these settings are still in place. If they are not they will need to be manually reset. Assignment grades for some students may currently be hidden, though they are preserved and will appear in the course grade book after full recovery is complete. Please write to us at Canvas@Cornell.edu if you have questions or need assistance in resetting these settings.
