Mac computers running macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) and older, and that have startup volumes that use file formats other than Apple's APFS, and that are enrolled in Confidential Data Discovery (Spirion), may encounter startup problems.
User Impact:
Affected Macs will not start up, and display a gray "no" symbol on a black background.
Workaround:
There is no workaround for this issue

This issue has been moved to the Spirion service website while the vendor works on a solution.

Mac computers running macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) and older, and that have startup volumes that use file formats other than Apple's APFS, and that are enrolled in Confidential Data Discovery (Spirion), may encounter startup problems since a recent update to CDD.

Affected Macs will not start up, and display a gray "no" symbol on a black background.
