Brief Description:
Caller ID will be enabled on the campus telephone system between Saturday, December 16, 2017, at 9:00am and Sunday, December 17, 2017, at 4:00pm. This change is necessary to support the university’s new 911 system, launching January 8, 2018.
User Impact:

Caller ID will be enabled on the campus telephone system between Saturday, December 16, 2017, at 9:00am and Sunday, December 17, 2017, at 4:00pm. Once the update is complete, calls placed from your Cornell phone to off-campus numbers will display your Cornell phone number instead of being shown as unknown. This change is necessary to support the university’s new 911 system, launching January 8, 2018, to provide the necessary location information in emergencies.
