Brief Description:
The Pinnacle Report Server will have Microsoft Windows monthly security updates applied by the Systems team on Wednesday October 18 beginning at 3:00am.
User Impact:
Effect of Change on Users: Users will not be able to run Crystal Reports while the server is rebooted. Even though the functional area can not run Crystal Reports, there should be no impact as this patching is being applied outside Pinnacle standard operating hours.

The Pinnacle Report Server will have Microsoft Windows monthly security updates applied by the Systems team on Wednesday October 18 beginning at 3:00am. Pinnacle reports will not be available until patching is complete, usually by 3:30am.
Change Description:
(1) The Pinnacle Production Report Server sf-pinn-002 will have the Monthly Windows Patches applied by the S&O automated patching. This is a shadow ticket for systems ticket CRQ000001021514.
(2) S&O will also disable the SMBv1 protocol in accordance with US-CERT best practices, and by recommendation of Cornell's IT Security Office. For details, see S&O's CCAB CRQ000001021506.
